jślķ 2008: Hiking in the wilderness of Iceland, Kerlingarfjöll Once a year a group of people with Icelandic Sheepdog take a few
days hiking trip. 2008 we went to Kerlingarfjöll with total 26 dogs and
their owners. I had 3 of my bitches with my, Kersins Katla and her 2
daughters, Sunnusteins Sunna Rögg and Sunnusteins Surtla.
23rd July - Jökulkrókur
15 km walk, it was cloudy and a bit windy so I didn“t take pictures

24rd
July - Kerlingargljśfur
It took us about 1,5 houers to drive 25 km after a "road" to a
plaze called Leppistungur where we started walking. We walked along a
canion that is 200 m deep where it is deepest and down to 1,5 m wide at
the topp with total darkness belowe. Just see the picture on the left!
25th
July - Fannborg og Snękollur
The weather was beautiful and we walked to the top of 2 mountains,
Fannborg (1448m) and from there to Snękollur (1448m). The view was
breathtaking!
26th. jślķ - Efri- og Nešri- Hveradalir
The wind had started to blow again but the colours around the hot
springs were amazing!
