CAC Dogshow held by the Icelandic Kennel Club (HRFÍ), June 6th 2010
Jared was shown in Intermediate class, he got Excellent and won his class with Champion Quality. He became the best saluki male and won CAC towards ISCh title. He became BOB and nr. 4 in group 10.
This is the critique Jared got from the judge, Georgious Kostopoulos from Greece :

Masculine. Well bodied + proportion.
Long head, typical ears + expression.
Good enough angles. Strong bones.
Broad thighs. Short enough loin.
Strong enough topline.
Sound + free movement.

Brella was shown in Open Class, she got Excellent, Champion Quality, became nr. 3 in her class and best bitch of breed nr. 5.
This is the critique she got from the Norwegian judge, Espen Engh :
"Sound bitch, elegant, feminine. Prefer more width of skull and more strength in the whole head. Strong topline. Well set tail. A bit soft in coat. One double dew-claw, the other single. A very good mover from all angles."

Today Chisobee Jared is 1 year old!

A lot has happened this summer but here we only meantion the major things.

June 23rd wr lost our Bragi, he was never compleatly healthy and we were able to keep much longer than we thought when he was a puppy. He was a great dog with fantastic temperament, we learned a lot from him, he was unique in every way.

In the end of June a dream for many years came true when Chisobee Jared came to our home. He is imported from the UK and had to stay 4 weeks in quaranteen before getting permission to come into Iceland. Jared is the 4th saluki in Iceland. Despite how different Jared is from the Icelandic Sheepdogs they get along very well.

4th July is a day we will never forget but then our queen, Kersins Katla, died suddently where I was walking her and her three daughters. Katla was a strong personality, with great temperament and just a fantastic dog in every way. Nobody will ever take her place in our home. She was only 7,5 years old.
